Basketball Recap: Bethpage Gets the Win

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Bethpage ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They snuck past the Sewanhaka Indians with a 57-53 win. This was a revenge game for the Golden Eagles: when they faced off against the Indians back in January, they had to take a 44-40 defeat.

The victory got Bethpage back to even at 8-8. As for Sewanhaka, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.

Bethpage will head out to take on South Side at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sewanhaka, they will welcome Division at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
