Baseball Recap: Wheaton Comes Up Short

Wheaton made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Walter Johnson, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Knights fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 10-8 on Wednesday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Wheaton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Walter Johnson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Walter Johnson will head out to take on Blair at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday. Wheaton will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' matchup: after the Wildcats face off against the Blazers, they'll take on Wheaton again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
