Softball Recap: Woodcrest Christian Comes Up Short

Woodcrest Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Arrowhead Christian Eagles, falling 21-10. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 last Tuesday.

Annie Renna was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Reagan Hamada, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

Woodcrest Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Arrowhead Christian, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5.

Woodcrest Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 18-3 loss against Linfield Christian on the 8th. As for Arrowhead Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-4 win against Notre Dame on the 8th.
