It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Orion can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Tremont Turks on Thursday. The Chargers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Ellie Knupp paced Orion's offense, picking up five kills. Knupp got some help from Khloe Nelson and her five assists. Kendyl Filler controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Orion's defeat dropped their record down to 23-16. As for Tremont, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-17 record this season.

Orion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tremont, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Hartsburg-Emden on the 10th.
