ThunderRidge is 8-0 against Regis Jesuit since October of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The ThunderRidge Grizzlies will face off against the Regis Jesuit Raiders at 3:30 p.m. ThunderRidge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

ThunderRidge came up short against Eaglecrest on Friday, falling 12-2. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Regis Jesuit). Everything went their way against Monarch on Saturday as Regis Jesuit made off with a 16-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Alex Tavlarides made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Tavlarides was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Jill Samaras was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Elsa Pedersen, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Regis Jesuit was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The last time their batting average was this high was back in August of 2023.

ThunderRidge now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Regis Jesuit, their record is now 2-6.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Monday. ThunderRidge hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Regis Jesuit struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

ThunderRidge took their win against Regis Jesuit in their previous matchup back in September of 2023 by a conclusive 12-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for ThunderRidge since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
