Forest Park was the 60-51 winner over Jasper when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Forest Park Rangers took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jasper Wildcats on Friday. The Rangers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Forest Park's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Jasper, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-9.

Forest Park won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Tecumseh at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. Forest Park is facing Tecumseh at the right time seeing as Tecumseh is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Jasper, they and Evansville Harrison will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Evansville Harrison will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Jasper surely won't give up without a fight.
