Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ashley Adams and Haley Patton Lead Friendswood to Victory

Friendswood won the last time they faced Clear Falls and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 win over the Knights.

Friendswood had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-19, 25-8, 25-11.

Leading Friendswood to victory were Haley Patton and Ashley Adams. Patton had 17 digs and six assists, while Adams had ten digs and five assists. That's the most digs Patton has posted over her last seven games. Sarah Grace Hickl also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Friendswood was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clear Falls only served six aces.

Despite the loss, Clear Falls still got an impressive performance from Cabrina Vanderford, who had 13 digs and two aces.
