Recap: Cedaredge Bruins vs. Roaring Fork Rams
The Cedaredge Bruins were the 56-34 winner over the Roaring Fork Rams when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Cedaredge took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Roaring Fork on Friday.
Cedaredge's loss came despite strong showings from Luke Maxey and Logan McIntire. Maxey scored 16 points, while McIntire scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that McIntire scored 15 or more points.
Roaring Fork found their leader in underclassman Lucas Carballeira, who scored 19 points along with three steals. Josh Hernandez was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Cedaredge's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-7. As for Roaring Fork, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-7.
Cedaredge won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Olathe at 4:00 p.m. on January 13th. Roaring Fork won't have much time to rest: their next match is against North Fork at 5:30 p.m. on January 13th. North Fork will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
