Football Recap: Heritage Generals vs. Adairsville Tigers
Heritage's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 31-17 victory over the Adairsville Tigers. The high-scoring effort was just what the Generals needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Brayden Slaughter was his usual excellent self, rushing for 152 yards and four touchdowns, while also picking up 44 receiving yards. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.
Although Adairsville took the loss, they still got scores from Braxton Elrod and Colton Sanford.
Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Adairsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.
Looking ahead, after each having a week off, Heritage and Harlem will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 11.9 points per game this season, so the Generals' offense will have their work cut out for them. Adairsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
