The Eden Raiders will head out to face off against the Christian Central Academy Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eden has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Eden is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Kennedy by a score of 81-71 on Tuesday.

Eden had a senior duo take command as Tyler Wakelam shot 5-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds and Chris Krencik went 9 of 18 on his way to 27 points and three steals. Krencik's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobe Genco, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points.

Eden was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Christian Central Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 71-42 loss at the hands of Global Concepts back in December of 2024.

Eden's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Christian Central Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Eden strolled past Christian Central Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 70-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eden since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
