Volleyball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Wethersfield

Wethersfield hadn't done well against Berlin recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Eagles skirted past the Redcoats 3-2. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Wethersfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 23-25, 25-21, 25-23, 16-14.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Wethersfield, bringing their record up to 8-5. As for Berlin, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-3.
