Basketball Recap: Arlington Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Arlington lost to South Grand Prairie on January 6th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Colts took a blow against the Warriors, falling 55-27. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 636th, while the Warriors are ranked 205th).

Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 21-8. As for South Grand Prairie, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

Arlington is taking a road trip to take on Sam Houston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Colts are facing the Texans at the right time seeing as the Texans are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for South Grand Prairie, they will square off against Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
