It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Gardena had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They skirted past the King/Drew Golden Eagles 36-33. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 56-43 win the Golden Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2018.

Gardena is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points over those games. King/Drew is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-20.
