Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Aiken). They never let the Midland Valley Mustangs get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Monday. Katie Slack was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

The victory got Aiken back to even at 8-8. As for Midland Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aiken will venture away from home to challenge Hampton County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midland Valley, they will head out to square off against Strom Thurmond at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Midland Valley are facing Strom Thurmond at the right time seeing as Strom Thurmond are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
