After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mark Morris, Woodland was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 14-5 margin over the La Center Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won three matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Addi Christensen made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits.
