Watseka entered their tilt with Donovan on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Watseka pushed their record up to 7-12 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Donovan, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Watseka will host Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
