The Hinkley Thunder will challenge the DSST: Green Valley Ranch Raptors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Hinkley turned things around against Kennedy on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Commanders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Thunder have posted against the Commanders since September 21, 2021.

Meanwhile, DSST: Green Valley Ranch made easy work of Bruce Randolph on Friday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Raptors in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won four in a row.

DSST: Green Valley Ranch never let Bruce Randolph on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-23.

DSST: Green Valley Ranch's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Hinkley, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

Hinkley beat DSST: Green Valley Ranch 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunder since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
