League recap: Dubois tops Kaycee to extend winning streak

6-Man North (6 Man) recap Sept. 26, 2012

Dubois extended the longest winning streak in 6-Man North (6 Man) this week by beating Kaycee, 44-22. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Rams.

Dubois' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Sterling Baker threw for 60 yards and Kyle Tea had 48 yards receiving. On the ground Baker chipped in 224 yards. Rowan Hawk helped Dubois' passing attack out by catching one ball for 12 yards.

Tea made the biggest impact on defense this week as David Trembly's team beat the Buckaroos. The 5-foot-7 senior grabbed one interception and recorded one fumble.

Kaycee's James Caro and Hayden Fauber have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Caro has thrown for 583 yards this season, while Fauber, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 11 catches for 284 yards. The Rams' Baker leads the league in rushing yards with 864.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Dubois and Ten Sleep. The Rams comes into the matchup ranked first in the state, while the Pioneers ranks eighth.

Two of the top units in 6-Man North (6 Man) will face off this week when Dustin Sipe's team takes on Meeteetse. The Buckaroos' offense has scored 223 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Longhorns have allowed only 203 on the year.

Hulett led the league in scoring this week after putting up 67 points on Ten Sleep.
