Basketball Recap: Swink Takes a Loss

Swink played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Cheraw Wolverines, falling 46-25. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Swink dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Cheraw, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Swink didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-50 defeat against Granada on the 14th. As for Cheraw, they will take on Deer Trail at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cheraw is facing Deer Trail at the right time seeing as Deer Trail is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
