After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Auburn, Mead was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Weeping Water Indians by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Thursday.

Mead was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 12-25, 25-23, 25-18.

Stella Charles paced Mead's offense, picking up 13 kills. Charles got some help from Jersey O'Brien and her 28 assists. Charles was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

When it comes to explaining why Weeping Water lost, don't look at Jaelis Brito- Diaz. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs and two aces.

Mead's win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 11-17. As for Weeping Water, they dropped their record down to 4-24 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Mead will square off against Falls City at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Weeping Water, they will take on Palmyra at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
