Soccer Game Preview: Washington vs. San Francisco International

The Washington Eagles will face off against the San Francisco International Huskies at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Washington will be strutting in after a win while San Francisco International will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Washington turned things around against Marshall on Tuesday. They never let the Phoenix onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, San Francisco International fell victim to Lowell and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to the Cardinals.

Washington's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for San Francisco International, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 0-1-2 and their overall record down to 1-2-2.

Washington came out on top in a nail-biter against San Francisco International in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will Washington repeat their success, or does San Francisco International have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
