Baseball Recap: Harvard Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Harvard's offense. They came up short against the Lakes Eagles on Tuesday, falling 13-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Harvard saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Finfrock, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Finfrock hit this season.

Harvard dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lakes, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Harvard will challenge Genoa-Kingston at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakes, they will face off against Deerfield at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
