Baseball Recap: Auburn Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Auburn's offense. They fell just short of the New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Trojans have struggled against the Vipers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Auburn's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Auburn is set to face off against their familiar foe Williamsville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly will take on rival Maroa-Forsyth at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
