Niles had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Dowagiac Chieftains. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Dowagiac's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Niles and Dowagiac will both be playing Vicksburg the next time they take the court. The Chieftains will host the Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
