Petrolia took a 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Seymour, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Pirates had just enough and edged out the Panthers 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Petrolia pushed their record up to 11-5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Seymour, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
