Softball Recap: Caldwell County Takes a Loss

Caldwell County lost to Crittenden County back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caldwell County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison McDaniel, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Caldwell County's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Crittenden County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Caldwell County will venture away from home to square off against Livingston Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cardinals' pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Crittenden County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Webster County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
