Football Game Preview: Spearfish vs. Mitchell

After two weeks on the road, Spearfish is heading back home. On Thursday they will take on Mitchell at 6:00 PM. The odds don't look promising for Spearfish, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.

After soaring to 42 points the game before, Spearfish faltered in their contest last Friday. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-28 punch to the gut against Huron last Friday.

Meanwhile, Mitchell were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 17-21 to Harrisburg. This makes it the second loss in a row for Mitchell.
