Basketball Recap: South Takes a Loss

South was the 66-60 winner over Kenston when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The South Rebels lost 55-30 to the Kenston Bombers on Friday. The game marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Kenston's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Samuel Rogers, who went 5 of 6 en route to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Barr, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

South is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10. As for Kenston, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South has already played their next match (against Perry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kenston will square off against Aurora at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kenston is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.3 points per game this season.
