Soccer Recap: Gresham Community Takes a Loss

Gresham Community scored the most goals they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Newman Catholic Fighting Cardinals, falling 6-2.

Gresham Community's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Newman Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Coincidentally, Gresham Community and Newman Catholic will both be playing Northland Lutheran the next time they take the pitch. The Fighting Cardinals will head out to face the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Wildcats will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
