Basketball Recap: Calhoun's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Calhoun had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 45-39 victory over the Ingleside Mustangs on Tuesday. For the Sandcrabs, this counts as revenge for the 45-35 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Calhoun's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-18. As for Ingleside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Sinton the next time they take the court. Ingleside will host Sinton at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Calhoun will host them at 6:15 p.m. on January 21st.
