Football Game Preview: South Wasco County vs. Harper

Harper have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will square off against South Wasco County at 4:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

Harper came into their this week averaging 51.5 points per game, but Harper fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They have to be aching after a bruising 6-31 loss to Joseph two weeks ago. The low total for Harper limited their streak of high-flying scores to six in a row.

Meanwhile, South Wasco County were averaging 50.25 points per game entering their matchup last Friday, but they just couldn't find their rhythm against Echo. South Wasco County took a serious blow against Echo, falling 6-51. If you felt some intense deja vu just there, it's no doubt because South Wasco County and Echo finished with that exact same score the last time they met.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
