Basketball Recap: Lake Holcombe Comes Up Short

Lake Holcombe lost against Birchwood back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lake Holcombe Chieftains took a hard 57-41 fall against the Birchwood Bobcats. The matchup marked the Chieftains' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lake Holcombe's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Birchwood, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Lake Holcombe will be home for the holidays to greet Clayton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Birchwood and Mellen will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th.
