Basketball Recap: Summerville Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Summerville had won eight straight home games dating back to last season and Molly Daugherty did her part to make it nine on Thursday. The Summerville Green Wave simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Stall Warriors 83-27 thanks in part to Daugherty, who went 10 of 13 on her way to 23 points and three steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2023.

The team also got some help courtesy of Madelyn Marsaa, who went 5 for 9 en route to 10 points and six steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.

Summerville's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Stall, their loss dropped their record down to 6-7.

Summerville has already played their next game, a 51-26 win against James Island on the 14th. As for Stall, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-6 defeat against Ashley Ridge on the 14th.
