Simmons put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They snuck past the South Delta Bulldogs with a 57-51 win. With that victory, the Blue Devils brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.

Simmons' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Akiah Prince, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. Prince's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Vontasia Rush, who went 6 of 9 en route to 17 points.

Simmons pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for South Delta, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Simmons will host West Bolivar at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Delta, they will welcome Leland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
