There's no place like home for Cape Fear, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the St. Pauls Bulldogs 8-0 on Wednesday. With that victory, Cape Fear brought their scoring average up to 3.8 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting St. Pauls from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Davis Spruill led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Cape Fear's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for St. Pauls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cape Fear will head out to take on Richmond Senior at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Richmond Senior's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for St. Pauls, they are taking a road trip to square off against North Johnston at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
