The Horizon Hawks will square off against the Cherokee Trail Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Horizon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.

Horizon is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Rock Canyon, who was ranked fourth at the time (Horizon was ranked 13th). The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Saturday. Horizon had to tread lightly for part of the match as three Horizon players were handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Madison McLachlan and Kesleigh Joule scored both of Horizon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Cherokee Trail waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let Wolves get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Cherokee Trail's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.
