Football Recap: Tri-Valley Titans vs. North Gem Cowboys

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tri-Valley had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 42-20 margin over the North Gem Cowboys. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

Tri-Valley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 310 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 199 rushing yards in ten consecutive contests.

Rusty Hatch and Craig Yost certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Hatch rushed for 211 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, while Yost rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown. Yost's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.

Tri-Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1. As for North Gem, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
