Soccer Game Preview: Rio Americano vs. Bella Vista

The Rio Americano Raiders will take on the Bella Vista Broncos at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Rio Americano came up short against Woodcreek and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 317th, while the Timberwolves are ranked 49th).

Meanwhile, Bella Vista has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the fourth. They and Ponderosa finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Thursday.

Liam Stanley and Melver Rangel Gutierrez scored both of Bella Vista's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Bella Vista's draw makes their record 4-2-4 this season. As for Rio Americano, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6-2.
