The Springville Red Devils will head out to  square off against the Spanish Fork Dons  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Springville will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Springville's defense heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They didn't even let Timpview on the board, marking the Red Devils' second-straight  28-0 shutout. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 28  points or more this season.

Springville relied on the efforts of   Treyton Harris, who rushed for 102 yards and one  TD, and   Tua Naufahu, who rushed for 52 yards and a pair of  scores. The dominant performance also gave  Naufahu a new career-high in  rushing touchdowns (two).  Sioasi Toki got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Springville was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 238  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 165  rushing yards in five consecutive  contests.
Meanwhile,  it may have taken  overtime to finish the job, but Spanish Fork ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Friday. They snuck past Maple Mountain with  a  20-14 victory.
 Spanish Fork didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Jack Parsons,  Gage Christensen,  Matai Johnson,  and  Mason Snow picked up one apiece. With that strong performance,  Snow is now averaging an impressive 5.1  total tackles per game.
 Springville's record now sits at 7-1. As for Spanish Fork, their record is now 3-5.
Thursday's   game might be decided in the trenches. Springville has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 258.1  rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Spanish Fork, though, as  they've been averaging  only 91.2  rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
 Springville strolled past Spanish Fork in their previous meeting  back in September of 2022 by a score of  35-21. Do  the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dons turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
