Basketball Recap: Park Ridge Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rutherford, Park Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Monday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 67-66 win over the Becton Wildcats. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Owls considering their 29-point performance the contest before.

The victory got Park Ridge back to even at 3-3. As for Becton, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Park Ridge will square off against Waldwick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waldwick knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Park Ridge likes a good challenge. As for Becton, they will take on St. Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
