Volleyball Recap: North Star Comes Up Short + How To Watch

North Star was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Meyersdale Red Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The 3-1 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by two points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 27-25, 22-25, 25-23.

Brooke Cannin paced North Star's offense, picking up 12 kills. Cannin got some help from Ella Hurley and her 37 assists. Cannin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

North Star's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Meyersdale, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
