Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ellie Freitag and Emma Krall Lead Bellevue to Victory

Bellevue won the last time they faced Port Clinton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Redmen came out on top against the Redskins by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bellevue was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-13.

Leading Bellevue to victory were Emma Krall and Ellie Freitag. Krall had ten digs and eight aces, while Freitag had six digs and two aces. Those eight aces gave Krall a new career-high.

The victory got Bellevue back to even at 1-1. As for Port Clinton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Bellevue will challenge Galion at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Port Clinton, they will welcome Sandusky at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
