Softball Recap: Johnsburg Central Takes a Loss

Johnsburg Central had lost three straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 1-5 to make it four. They fell just short of the Bolton Central Eagles by a score of 3-2. The game marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

As for Bolton Central, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3. The win continues a trend for them in their matchups with Johnsburg Central: they've now won five in a row.

For Bolton Central's part, Thea Kennedy was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Huck, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one double.
