Basketball Game Preview: Carlin Railroaders vs. Jackpot Jaguars

Carlin is 1-9 against Jackpot since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Carlin Railroaders will welcome the Jackpot Jaguars at 6:30 p.m.

Carlin is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They had to suffer through a 69-38 loss at the hands of Owyhee. The Railroaders' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Jackpot didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Wells on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 58-53 victory.

Carlin's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Jackpot, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Carlin came up short against Jackpot when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 38-27. Can Carlin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
