Nixon kept a clean sheet against Roma on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Roma Gladiators, sneaking past 1-0. Alexis Serna had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Mustangs.

Nixon pushed their record up to 8-0-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those five contests. As for Roma, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1.
