Soccer Game Preview: Darlington vs. South Florence

Darlington hasn't had much luck against South Florence recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Darlington Falcons will face off against the South Florence Bruins at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

South Florence will be up against a hot Darlington squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Darlington put the hurt on Lakewood with a sharp 9-1 win on Friday. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by exactly eight goals.

Meanwhile, South Florence and Crestwood's matchup on Tuesday was close at halftime, but South Florence turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. South Florence's defense stepped up to hand Crestwood a 3-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.

Darlington's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for South Florence, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Darlington might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from South Florence when the teams last played back in April of 2022. Can Darlington avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
