Palisades has gone a perfect 10-0 against University recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Dolphins will square off against the Wildcats at 3:00 p.m. Palisades has given up an average of 9.4 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Palisades couldn't beat Hamilton on Thursday even though they stacked six runs on them in the fifth inning. The Dolphins lost 19-9 to the Yankees. The Dolphins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rikka Richardson was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

In other batting news, Ashley Arauz-Augustin was a standout: she went 1-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Kayla Anzora was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

University always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .565. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Palisades' loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for University, their record is now 5-6.
