Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Big Walnut). They were the clear victors by a 7-4 margin over the Hayes Pacers on Thursday. It was an even better day for Jacob Marshall as he scored four goals for his team.

The victory got Big Walnut back to even at 2-2. As for Hayes, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1.

Big Walnut wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-3 win against Watkins Memorial on the 30th. As for Hayes, they will head out to square off against Westerville North at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
