Basketball Recap: Plainfield South Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Plainfield South had won three straight home games dating back to last season and Layla Lesure did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Cougars blew past the Warren Township Blue Devils 61-39 thanks in part to Lesure, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 18 rebounds. Lesure is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Plainfield South now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Warren Township, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Plainfield South will face off against Yorkville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Warren Township, they will challenge Oak Park-River Forest at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
