Baseball Recap: Fulton Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wartburg Central, Fulton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Apostolic Christian Eagles a 26-0 shutout. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Fulton's victory bumped their record up to 17-18. As for Apostolic Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Fulton is taking a road trip to challenge Hancock County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Apostolic Christian will be paying especially close attention to the Falcons' contest: after the Falcons face off against the Indians, they'll take on Apostolic Christian again at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
